New Easyjet Flights to Boost Bodrum and Dalaman Property Markets
Turkish property specialists Spot Blue have learned that the UK's largest airline Easyjet is launching three new flights from London Gatwick to Turkey's most popular regions.
Easyjet currently runs 3 flights to Bodrum and 5 flights to Dalaman from Gatwick. By the height of summer it will be running 4 to Bodrum and 7 to Dalaman. This is part of a major expansion of Easyjet's Gatwick flights, which will involve the addition of a new plane at the airport bringing the total to 39.
The new flights will be massively beneficial to the property markets of Bodrum and Dalaman, and are testament to Turkey's massively rising popularity with British holidaymakers, according to Spot Blue.
"New flights are always beneficial to a property market, but I think even more-so when it comes to Turkey," said Julian Walker.
"Last week ABTA [the Association of British Travel Agents] told us that Turkey's tourism was rising massively from Britain, 20-25% for the last few years, and 25% expected this year, because it is outside the Euro zone, and because of its improving infrastructure increasing its capacity for tourists. As Turkey's tourism capacity increases more flights will be needed to continue its growth, so keep them coming Easyjet," he explained.
Spot Blue is currently responsible for marketing dozens of properties in Bodrum and Dalaman. Bodrum property marketed by Spot Blue starts from £38k, and Dalaman property prices start from £46k.
Turkey's property market has been among the least affected by the international downturn; largely because of its massive growth into one of the world's top tourism destinations. Turkey received 23million+ tourists from around the world last year, and expects to receive 30million this year.
The new flights not only show that tourism is still growing, but will also help accelerate the growth, thus making the 30million target more within reach.
Spot Blue are well known and trusted Turkish property agents, giving peace of mind to buyers in their membership to dozens of quality control and other professional bodies including: the AIPP and the NAEA. Their impartial and hassle free approach to advising potential buyers is also of great benefit.
