"Several surveys have showed that hardly anyone plans to stop taking holidays because of the credit-crunch. But as people are tightening their belts in as many ways as possible, looking at private holiday rental properties as oppose to fixed packages is becoming an increasingly attractive way of holidaying. Not to mention people who have had bad experiences in package holiday hotels are choosing to have more control over their accommodation and their holiday as a whole."
