France Property Most Searched for in Europe

France property is the most popular in with Google searchers. Write About Property has analysed search numbers for all the countries in Europe followed by the word property, i.e. Spain property etc, and France property is the most searched for, with Spain property in second place.

The biggest surprise in the results according to Write About Property director Liam Bailey was Dubai's 3rd position, he said:

"Dubai property being the 3rd most searched is a surprise given the negative press Dubai has received lately and the number of postponed and cancelled projects. Clearly the small land mass home to some of the most prestigious property developments in the world, has not lost its glitz in the eyes of international property buyers."

The results of Jet to Let's annual survey of its readers released today are a stark contrast to Write About Property's findings, as you can see in the table below. This is most likely because Jet to Let's readership is primarily investors, whereas the Google searches incorporate those looking for holiday homes and to emigrate.

For arguments sake and for inclusion in this article Write About Property analysed the searches for America and India property: India would have gone into 3rd place knocking Cyprus off the chart, but America would not have featured in the top 5, continuing the vast difference between the most popular countries with searchers and investors.
